💚Coffee Truck: Sweet & SavoryThe coffee truck support consisted of different drinks, snacks and desserts – the perfect combination of sweet and savory, like our Park Jihoon.Starting with 3 different kinds of sandwiches – shrimp egg mayo, ham and cheese croissant and egg cheese croissant; to 3 different types of macaroons/sand cookies – red velvet, tiramisu and berry matcha; to more than 50 kinds of drinks including the bingsoo specials. A total of more than 350 cups of drinks/bingsoo and about 300 snacks were provided for the cast and crew of Fantasy Sonata.

Global MAYS have also prepared a special lunch box for Park Jihoon which consisted of abalone, chicken ganjeong, shrimp balls, dontteokgalbi, aged ssambap, bulgogi salad, fried shrimp, rice, seasonal fruits, rice puff, mussam roll and shrimp skewers. We were told by the coffee truck company that Jihoon has enjoyed the snacks and the lunch box so much.Along with the special lunch box is a card, which was made along with the bouquet. 💛Gifts: Big Bunny & Mini JaguarAs the drama title can also be translated as either <Fantasy Sonata> or <Love Song for Illusion> in English, Global MAYS thought to share LOVE SONG FOR JIHOON and thus the MAYS’ SONATA with the big message flower bouquet was made.The main gift of Global MAYS for Park Jihoon is this BIG BOUQUET which was composed of the messages and fanarts of all of our generous donors from different countries around the world for Park Jihoon. It was designed to look like a MINI MUSIC SHEET. In the middle of the bouquet is a card that contains the QR code to a Spotify Playlist which has all the different love songs and recommended songs by our donors for Park Jihoon who enjoys listening to music.Click to enlarge:

There’s also a part in each of the message cards where donors wrote in their native language and in their own handwriting this common message that we want to emphasize to Jihoon:“Park Jihoon! MAY will always be here!”This card contains a QR code that links to a website specially made for Park Jihoon. It contains the messages and fanarts of all the donors, as in the bouquet, as well as the different translations from the participating countries, of Global MAYS’ wish for Park Jihoon to have a safe, healthy and happy filming. It was made so that Jihoon can have a digital copy of the message bouquet.A preview of the site can be seen below:

All details for the support from conceptualizing message bouquet idea, coordinating, designing of banners, video editing, generating a website (@PJHsupporters), translating (@HoonieSG), designing the sticker and message cards (@pjh_may_jp) were all possible thanks to the teamwork of the various Park Jihoon fanbases.Park Jihoon, a self-professed jaguar, has always been a bunny in the eyes of many. Therefore, Global MAYS also sent both a bunny and a jaguar gift for Park Jihoon in this drama support.The BIG BUNNY pillow is shaped like a number 7 to symbolize Park Jihoon’s 7-0 win as Best New Actor in the recent Blue Dragon Series Awards. The bunny pillow is a big body pillow which we hope Jihoon can use when he wants to rest after a long day of filming.As for the MINI JAGUAR gift, 3 ice cooling neck rings in MAY colors and shaped like a Jaguar’s ears were given to Park Jihoon to help cool him down during the hot filming days. Bonus gift of 3 flower cushions in MAY colors were given as well!

💖Banners, Stickers, Photos & Video: Winkingie & WinkOpPark Jihoon’s cute side aka Wingkingie and Park Jihoon’s mature side aka WinkOp were both showcased in the decorations for the drama support.:: Banners ::There are 3 types of banners that were prepared for the support. The horizontal banner with the message, “악희고영 박지훈 화윙팅 맛있게 드세현”; the X-banner with the message “The World Supports You, our 윙King & 환상연가 team” and which showed the usernames of the donors and the countries they were from; and lastly the cut-out banner where the text reads 안전하게 촬영하깅, 건강하고 행복하깅, Love From Global MAYS hoping for a safe, healthy happy filming for Park Jihoon.

During the donation drive, donors were asked to suggest banner text messages to be used for the drama support and one of our donors suggested the text “'악희'고영 박지훈 화이팅 맛있게 드세현~” which translates to:Akhee (incorporating it to his nickname “아희고영” meaning “Beautiful men are rare; classics are eternal”) Park Jihoon, enjoy your food, (King) Hyeon~.Akhee and Hyeon are the names of the characters that Park Jihoon will play as in the drama. That suggested banner text was eventually selected by the team, tweaked a little and became the final horizontal banner text.The horizontal banner was then designed by @PJHsupporters, in collaboration with the entire team, the dark background (starry sky and a full moon) was chosen simulating the webtoon’s dark concept and incorporated 2 different recent looks of Park Jihoon, which symbolizes the characters that he will be playing - King Hyeon and Akhee. The font used was the same font used in the webtoon title.And to further highlight his 3 different names, MAY colors were used as in Peach Pink for Akhee, Spring bouquet for Park Jihoon, and Lemon tonic for Hyeon.

As Park Jihoon is to play the role of a king, @PJHsupporters came up with the texts for the 2 vertical or X-banners and did a wordplay on KING and combined it with nicknames of Park Jihoon – 윙 (wink) and 토끼 (bunny), giving birth to 윙KING (wingKING) and 토KING (toKING).The cut-out figure was of a bunny wearing a small crown and with a text saying "오늘의 토KING" which translates to "Today's Bunny". We thought that it would be a cute interactive part of the coffee truck support, not just for Jihoon, but for the cast and crew as well while they line up to place their orders. There's also MAX and Winkky in the design and for rhyming effect, MAX was fondly called Baby MAX(맥깅) and Winkky was saying '화윙팅!' or 'fighting'.There was also a message which reads '안전하게 촬영하깅 건강하고 행복하깅♡' and means 'Hoping for a safe filming, good health and happiness’ (all rhyming with “King”)'. It was belatedly added upon learning that Park Jihoon suffered a minor injury during filming. And it is with hope that the rest of the filming go smoothly without any injuries for all the cast and crew.Also, as the theme is ‘duality’, although the photos and colors used were of the WinkOp side, the banner texts were of the Wingkingie side; except for the entirely Wingkingie cut-out banner which we were told Park Jihoon and the Fantasy Sonata staff took pictures with as well.

:: Photos ::Four photos were selected among Park Jihoon’s many wonderful photos and the photos chosen showed the two sides of Park Jihoon – Winkgingie and WinkOp - as well as Park Jihoon as a child, wearing a crown prince’s costume, and as an adult, wearing a Hanbok.There’s also a text written which reads, “신인상🏆축하해♡'' and this is both to belatedly congratulate Park Jihoon for winning the Best New Actor Award in Blue Dragon Series Awards and interestingly also to congratulate him for his nomination as Best Newcomer Actor in Asia Content Awards and Global OTT Awards.

:: Stickers ::The sticker used for the support also embraced the 'duality' theme. First, the combination of Park Jihoon’s photo and an illustration of the character that he is playing, in reference to the webtoon, gave rise to the Global MAYS’ drama support sticker. This was created by @pjh_may_jp.Second, the illustration was made with a touch of ink/water color painting to signify the drama being a period/historical drama. And this was contrasted by a picture of Park Jihoon in a modern photoshoot. There is also a 2-torn paper design in the sticker which represents Park Jihoon playing 2 characters as well.Third, dark colors and light colors were combined to represent Park Jihoon as himself and Park Jihoon as an actor. It can also represent the 2 different characters he will be playing in the upcoming drama - Akhee and Hyeon.Lastly, MAY colors were also used in the sticker decoration along with the character names that Park Jihoon will be playing as. The peach pink for Hyeon, the spring bouquet for Akhee while the lemon tonic symbolizes the rest of the characters.The English (as in the webtoon) and Korean titles of the upcoming work were also included in the sticker design, along with the identification that the support was from Global MAYS.Park Jihoon who looks like he came out of a comic was perfectly encapsulated in the drama support sticker.
